DWF View support

DWF View is a single app for Mac, iPad and iPhone. It needs macOS 14 or later, or iPadOS and iOS 17 or later. One download, one purchase: the Pro upgrade is shared across your devices through your Apple Account.

.dwf, .dwfx and .dxf drawings, including multi-sheet sets and older DWF files, with a sheet list and thumbnails to move between pages. AutoCAD and Design Review are not required.

Text (ASCII) DXF. A binary DXF can be saved again as ASCII DXF from the CAD program.

Not yet. DWF View shows 2D drawing sheets; a DWF that contains only a 3D model is reported as such.

Opening and viewing any supported drawing, one drawing at a time: multi-sheet sets with sheet list and thumbnails, zoom, pan and rotation by gesture, trackpad or mouse, zoom to a rectangle, arrow keys to move between sheets, recent drawings on the start screen, heavy sheets opened simplified with "Show Everything", a dark sheet, and light or dark appearance.

It is a single one-time in-app purchase, with no subscription.

Measurement is part of Pro. The scale is detected automatically from the drawing's own title block, for example "1:100", and imperial scales such as 1/4" = 1'-0" are read too. When a drawing has no title block, or the detected scale is wrong, Pro lets you calibrate manually against any known dimension.

Yes. Measurements can be shown in metric or imperial units, and imperial scales such as 1/4" = 1'-0" are read from the title block.

Yes. PDFs come out at the drawing's real paper size, so printing at 100 % keeps the drawing's scale.

Yes: Language… in the app (on the Mac in the DWF View menu, on the iPhone in the … menu, and on the start screen of the iPhone and iPad) opens the system settings where you choose a language for this app only.

Yes. All conversion, rendering, measurement and export happens on your device. An internet connection is only needed to process the Pro purchase.
